Vending not affected by tuition fees

Despite the inevitable concerns about student spending limitations in light of fee increases, vending operator Autobar is finding that students are as ready to spend on the right products as ever.

Autobar supply over 50 UK universities with all manner of hot drink vending equipment.  The student market is particularly interesting, as many have grown up with an affiliation to a particular high street brand of coffee and naturally gravitate to a product which looks similar in terms of packaging and delivery.

Students are attracted to quick “grab and go” offerings in the right settings: their most profitable machines by far are situated in libraries, as students are spending longer than ever there studying.

Students are a savvy audience and will spend more and buy vended coffee more often if the machine has a 21st Century touch-screen interface and offers quality granulated milk and good coffee beans.
