New Schaerer espresso machine

Swiss vending machine manufacturer, Schaerer, has launched the Coffee Prime espresso machine producing a variety of quality bean-to-cup beverages ‘at the press of a button’.

The company claims that the new machine saves costs and is energy efficient.  Energy saving features include compact machine components, which minimise consumption, a fully insulated boiler, as well as a power-saving standby mode in which the unit uses less than 0.5 watts.

It can make up to 100 espressos, or 70 cappuccinos, per hour and is aimed at a range of sectors, including staff catering, restaurants and hotels; the Coffee Prime can be either mains water or tank fed.

Up to 40 drinks can be programmed into the controls, using ingredients such as coffee beans, fresh milk and chocolate. A 7inch screen can also be used for advertising to help promote products and for logos. Features such as the air pump technology deliver consistent milk foam quality and a brewing accelerator makes the vending machine quicker during busy periods.
