Douwe Egberts believes its latest initiative, the world’s first double-walled vending cup, developed in partnership with machine manufacturer, Crane, and Huhtamaki, will further revolutionise gourmet vended coffee.

To continue competing with high street coffee shops it is essential that consumers be served coffee in a premium cup with relevant branding. We see the double-walled cup as an essential step in our journey to satisfy the consumer demand for gourmet quality coffee from vending machines.”
The new cup is designed to offer high insulation against hot liquids, removing any requirement for additional sleeves. The double-wall also has a visual benefit as consumers associate it with ‘premium’ coffee such as drinks sold by high street coffee chains.
The new double-walled cups are the latest development for the Douwe Egberts’ Espresso Bar coffee vending concept. This gourmet vending solution aims to improve the quality of vended coffee.
