A brand new vending concept has been launched by the food and drink experts at Aimia Foods.
Pour Moi Café Express, the next generation self-serve coffee station, is described by Aimia as “the most complete – yet affordable – coffee station in the market today. The new coffee station hosts a wealth of innovative features and adaptations not seen in other coffee stations on the market. The machine, unit, and payment systems are all seamlessly integrated to provide a solution that is unparalleled in design quality”.
Of pivotal importance to Aimia was ensuring that the system was geared with the operator in mind: With a 48 hour operating cycle, achieved through the inclusion of triple capacity ingredients canisters and a high volume waste system, as well as a revolutionary sliding coin mechanism access model.
Developed in a tri-partite agreement with partners Coffetek, Regency Design and Nayax UK, the Café Express covers a smaller footprint than Regency’s standard units, a move Aimia’s marketing controller Martin Armitt describes as essential. He said, “We’ve reduced the footprint and height, giving access to more sites whilst at the same time ensuring the branding and presentation is phenomenally strong, utilising familiar coffee colours and cues to support maximum consumer uptake.”
The machine integrates Regency’s user-friendly touches, such as a media screen which comes as standard with pre-loaded, end-user orientated videos, providing a perfect platform for advertising opportunities.
There is a choice of payment options including traditional card chip payment as well as contactless payment, a proven method of obtaining sales uplift with an estimated 40 per cent increase in purchases alone. In addition, the management reporting available ensures operators can watch throughputs and make better decisions about visits to site.
