Nigel has spent all his working career in the Catering and Vending industry, fulfilling various roles, mostly within large industrial catering companies.
His most recent position before joining Thirst Link was as Operations Director responsible for the aftercare of major corporate clients. Nigel had specific responsibility for 5 strategically important National customers with over 80 catering operations geographically spread throughout the UK.
These operations always demanded a high quality yet economical approach, to not only ensure that budgets were on target, but that optimum standards of service were achieved. Nigel’s skill in evaluating the cost effectiveness of both a combined and separate Catering and Vending operation was honed and is now available to the benefit Thirst Link clients.
Nigel joined Thirst Link in 2009, after having spent the previous 5 years with an independent Catering Consultancy, working on behalf of prestigious clients, such as Marks and Spencer and Orange. His catering consultancy services included conducting quality audits, tendering exercises, purchasing evaluations and project management, in addition to other hands-on assistance and advice provided. Suffice to say Nigel possesses all the knowledge and inter-personal skills required to assist Thirst Link clients to ensure a high quality, cost effective solution is delivered consistently throughout the full contract period.
