Throughout his working life, Andy has developed the skills to not only listen to, but understand the needs of his clients and their organisations, then providing recommendations on the right solution.
Prior to joining Thirst Link, Andy was an in-house vending adviser to a global contract caterer, undertaking the evaluation of needs and opportunities for vending services within their clients’ sites across the UK.
He worked alongside their operations teams and suppliers to improve the performance and profitability of the vending operations through effective equipment placement, branding and service management.
By openly questioning “business as usual” approaches, Andy enjoys comparing current practices against alternative strategic options and best practices. He is constantly and constructively challenging working methods and procedures to foster long term sustainable growth and profitability.
He enjoys investigating and evaluating new equipment and products on the market and modelling the options to assess viability in a variety of scenarios. Thereafter, establishing and reviewing systems and procedures to support effective operation of the business and developing tools to analyse performance.
As a long-standing and very successful member of the Thirst Link team, Andy now uses his expert knowledge of the industry and his business skills to deliver significant improvements to his clients’ refreshment facilities.
