Thirst Link Consulting was formed in January 2005 by its founder Roy Girt who after working for some 30 years for a leading vending operator company identified a need in the market for someone to represent client companies providing them with a dedicated focus and objective advice on their refreshment vending facilities. It had been self-evident in the industry that many clients were not always able to devote enough time or have enough detailed industry knowledge to make well informed decisions when reviewing, appointing and monitoring their company’s chosen supplier for vending services.
Thirst Link Consulting continues to expand as the demand for its services increases. David Bate joined in November 2006 as a full Partner, bringing a tremendous amount of expertise and knowledge to the business, drawn from his 28 years in various senior positions within the catering and vending industries.
Thirst Link Consulting is believed to be the first and only specialist vending consultancy in the UK, working entirely in the best interests of corporate clients, providing advice and a variety of services that is structured and personalised to meet each clients specific needs, depending upon what stage they are at with their current vending service contract.
We are familiar with all the industry’s suppliers and service “operators” and have detailed knowledge of all industry costs and methods. As we are truly independent with no ties to any vending operator or equipment manufacturer we are ideally placed to provide objective advice to our clients.
