Nigel’s has spent all 35 years of his working career in the Catering and Vending industry, fulfilling various roles mostly within large industrial catering companies. His most recent position before joining Thirst Link was as Operations Director responsible for the aftercare of major corporate clients. Nigel also had himself specific responsibility for 5 strategically important national customers with over 80 catering operations geographically spread throughout the UK.

These operations always demanded a high quality yet economical approach to ensure budgets were achieved as well as optimum standards of service. Suggesting service recommendations to assist clients in making informed decisions is vital to achieve success. Nigel’s skill in evaluating the cost effectiveness of both a combined and separate Catering and Vending operations were honed and are now available to the benefit Thirst Link customers.

Nigel joined Thirst Link in 2009, after having spent the previous 5 years running his own independent Catering Consultancy, working on behalf of prestigious clients such as Marks and Spencer and Orange. Nigel’s consultancy services included conducting quality audits, tendering exercises, purchasing evaluations’ and project management, in addition to other hands-on assistance and advice provided. Suffice to say Nigel possesses all the knowledge and inter-personal skills required to assist Thirst Link clients to ensure a high quality, cost effective solution is delivered consistently throughout the full contract period.
